A more efficient engine for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra is powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle engine developing 147 hp. This engine is mated to a second-generation six-speed automatic transmission in the majority of models that, combined the Atkinson cycle engine, lowers overall fuel consumption.

Better yet, you can choose how the 2017 Hyundai Elantra behaves on the road by choosing one of three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport. These modes change the settings of several mechanical components to adjust the behavior of the car according to your needs and tastes. In Sport mode, for example, the 2017 Elantra reacts more quickly to driver inputs and the steering is firmer. In ECO mode, everything is in place to ensure better fuel consumption. The accelerator is firmer to avoid accelerating too harshly and consume a lot of fuel.
