COVID-19 Update: March 24, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,  

At Gyro Hyundai, we prioritize safety above all else. That is why we are continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation and updating our operating procedures daily, based on the recommendations from public health and government officials, to help protect the health and well-being of our customers and employees, and to do our part to minimize the spread of the virus in Canada.

In response to the government’s request to close non-essential business, our dealership will remain open for service only with reduced hours and no public access to the facility. Our sales department will temporarily be closed until April 8, 2020. We will be continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation and updating our operating procedures daily, based on the recommendations from public health and government officials. We will be updating our website www.gyrohyundai.com and social media platforms with any new updates. 

Service & Parts Hours 

Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. 

Sat 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Our service and parts facility will not be open to the public, we do have a No Contact Service Experience and a No Contact Parts Purchase process to limit the spread of the virus. For the health and well-being of our customers and employees, we are no longer offering shuttle service. Payments can only be made on-line. Public access to our facilities will not be available. Specifically the doors will be locked so there will be no access to washrooms or waiting areas. We understand the temporary closure of our sales department may impact you, but we are still here for you.

For Customers with An Upcoming Delivery:

If you have recently purchased a vehicle, we will be reaching out to you directly to make arrangements for you to take possession of your new Hyundai! If you have any questions, please contact us at 416-422-6588. 

For Customers with Upcoming Lease Terminations: 

We will be contacting all customers with upcoming lease expirations in order of priority to discuss options available to you. If you have any questions, please contact Hyundai Motor Finance at 1-800-205-0530.

For Customers who Require a Payment Deferral: 

For existing customers who are experiencing financial difficulty due to COVID-19 some deferral options may be available to you. Please check your banking contract to confirm which bank provided you with a vehicle loan. COVID-19 Update: March 17, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

With the growing concern surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to reach out to our valued customers to share the actions we are taking to ensure our facilities are clean and safe for our clients, community as well as our team members.

In response to COVID-19, we have taken additional precautionary measure, following the lead of Health Canada as well as local public health authorities to ensure our communities safety, including but not limited to:

  • We have enhanced our cleaning protocols throughout all departments, with focus in high contact and high traffic area
  • We have limited non-essential travel and asked any staff exhibiting symptoms to please exercise self-isolation for 14 days
  • We have increased the deployment of hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes throughout the dealership
  • We are asking customers that are experiencing symptoms to please reschedule their visit

While we appreciate that buying a new car may not be a high priority at this time, we do recognize that being able to drive a reliable, safe and serviced vehicle probably is.  Please be assured that the health of our guests coming in for servicing is of the utmost importance.

To ensure the safety of our community and team, we are offering a NO CONTACT SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

No Contact Service Experience is:

  • Drop off your vehicle using the Night Drop envelopes
  • You must call the Service Department at 416-422-6588 to let a Service Advisor know you have completed your Drop Off
  • Our staff will communicate with you via phone and or text
  • Once your vehicle is ready you will be able to pay online via our texting application Kimoby
  • Invoices and vehicle inspection reports will be emailed to you
  • During pick up, please contact us and we will place your keys in your vehicle
  • Your key and all touch-points in the vehicle will be sanitized

During this pandemic, we are working hard to do the right thing for the communities we live and work in.

As information and guidance from public health officials’ changes, we will reassess and change our procedures and protocols accordingly.
